Page Title Graphic - Indicator Profile

An indicator profile provides a table of all regions for a selected indicator. KWIC displays data for 65 regions: New York State, New York City, Rest of State (NYS minus NYC) and each of New York State’s 62 counties.

The most current data available and an arbitrary comparison year data are automatically displayed and you have the ability to change those years. Indicators are organized and displayed by Touchstones’ six major life areas.

To learn about indicator profiles, view our on-demand Indicator Profile Tutorial.

Additional features on the profile page:

  • Select Another Indicator will provide another Indicator Profile.
  • Clicking Life Area will provide the Touchstones goals and objectives pertaining to that indicator's life area as well as list all indicators included in that life area.
  • Clicking Data Sources will provide the indicator's sources for "who, what, when, where and how" data are collected.
  • Clicking Narrative will provide the indicator's definitions, significance and recent findings.
  • Clicking Download Data will provide directions on how to download the displayed data.
